I am absolutely against this crazy socialistic takeover of our health care. Why can’t the fed govrn send every citizen 21 or older $3000 or so dollars per yr for them to purchase health ins. Sure would be cheaper and make more sense than this crazy takover our govern wants to do. It will be an expensive, intrusive, nightmare. The ins cos would be required to offer a low cost basic health plan and not pre existing conditions. Why should I pay for my ins and poor people get free that I pay for through taxes? Drug prices are out of sight. Need to regulate drug prices and hosp costs, test costs etc first. Make congress be under the same health plan.
Dear John Fleming,
I agree that something needs to be done about the high cost of health care, but what this administration is doing, is un-American. I thought our big worry was about terroism from radical countries, but I can see that these liberals in office are our greatest threat. I deffinately do not want to have a government run healthcare. All Obama and his crowd want to do,is use scare tactics to control the people and this country. They need to keep their hands off the Medicare system. This money belongs to the American people who have paid into it all these years. It doesn’t belong to the government to spend or give to illegals. Illegals have never contributed a dime to the system. I am deeply concerned about the direction our government is going and feel we as a country are being railroaded by the evil that exists in Washington. I’ve read the pamphlet you sent in the mail and I agree with you , we do not need to have a government takeover of our healthcare. I thank you for what you are trying to do for us and I support your efforts with my vote and my prayers.
Dear Congressman Fleming,
It is time for all of the Senators and Congreemen to have the same retirement and health care insurance the citizens of American have. I think it is time all of our representatives represent us the citizens of the United States, not their own issues and agenda items. While I do not think we need a government run health care program we do need the government make the health care industry and the pharmaceutical industry abide by stricter laws and oversight. These companies are robbing the American people and lining their own pockets and those in the House and Senate who they support.
My husband has to take a medicine that 15 years ago when it was new cost us $75.00 for a 30 day supply. The pharmacy assured us the high price was because the medicine was new and once it was established the price would come down. The same medicine is now costing us $278.00 for a thirty day supply. This “robbing” of the American people must stop.
Thank you for hearing me.

I agree with the previous three comments. I also believe that all US citizens should have to have this government run health care plan and that includes ALL the politicians. What they consider good enough for the rest of the country, should be good enough for them and their families. I live in Illinois and a state employee. Did you know that we are mandatory reporting regarding child abuse when we ARE NOT AT WORK, but are not mandatory to report illegals in the country when they apply for welfare! There is definitely a problem with that as far as I and other workers and citizens are concerned. Illegals obtain welfare a lot easier than our citzens do. We have no problem if they ARE here legally. Also, since when does the country have to learn someone else’s language that comes from a different country! They should learn the language of the country in which they are living.
Have congress accept same health care plan they want the rest of us to accept.
